Aquamacs Emacs

I was trying to get to grips with GNU Emacs, when I came across a Mac OS X specific equivalent, called Aquamacs. Well, it isn't really an equivalent, but, if I understood correctly, it is a graphical user interface (GUI) shell around GNU Emacs. It is meant to keep you in the spirit of GUI, not having to switch gears to a command-line-interpreter-state of mind.
